Our first Hall of Fame athlete is Cary Eller. Cary is a 1968 graduate of Eisenhower High School. He was an outstanding guard and middle linebacker, earning the role of captain of the football team his senior yea. He was EHS’s Most Valuable Player and received the Capital Conference “Player of the Year” award. He was All-City his junior and senior year and made over 100 tackles a year during his football career as a Panther, finally setting a record with 129 tackles his senior year. Cary also was a successful basketball athlet,e as he was the member of the City Championship basketball team.
