Chris DeVore, a tennis athlete, was part of the state doubles champion for Eisenhower in 1989 and 1990, helping lead the 1990 team to a second-place finish. Chris took fourth in singles as a senior and finished as an All-American all four years of high school.
Chris signed with South Carolina out of high school but transferred to Illinois and finished his tennis career with the Illini.
