Mike Rusk served as a coach at Lakeview, Eisenhower and MacArthur. In 1976 Mike served as Lakeview's head boy’s golf coach for four years. He left coaching but in 1988 he took over the MacArthur boy’s golf team until 1993 when he went across town to coach boy’s golf at Eisenhower where he also started the girl’s golf program. In 1995 Mike’s girls’ golf team finished second in the state and his boys’ team finished fourth in 2000. Rusk came out of retirement when Eisenhower needed a girl’s golf coach. Additionally, Mike kept the official scorebook for Eisenhower’s boys’ basketball games for thirty years.
