KC Hammond is a dual sport athlete . KC was Macon County Player of the Year for both of these sports and earned accolades in basketball three years and two years in volleyball. As a basketball player, KC was a leading scorer with 1,385 points and was a member of IBCA’s All-state selection team. In volleyball, KC delivered 888 kills and 274 blocks in a single season. KC continued as a star athlete at Millikin University where she earned All-Conference all four years in basketball and two years in volleyball. KC held the title of 4th in career digs for Millikin Volleyball and in basketball, is the 4th all-time scorer at Millikin, 9th all-time for rebounds and achieved Division III All Amerian accolades. KC became a member of the Big Blue Athletic Hall of Fame in 2005.
