Raisa Taylor is a three-time Decatur Herald and Review girls Macon county basketball player of the year. That says it all about why Raisa Taylor is among those being inducted into the District 61 Athletic Hall of Fame.
Taylor is Eisenhower's girls basketball all-time second leading scorer with 1,345 points during her career, earned Big 12 Conference Player of the Year her senior year, led Eisenhower in scoring, averaging 20pts or better each of her last three prep seasons. Her junior year, she scored 43 points against Champaign Centennial and in her sophomore year led the team in scoring and rebounding.

She parlayed her brilliant Lady Panthers basketball career into an outstanding career at nearby Bradley University where she was deemed Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week and earned honorable mention All-MVC honors. She finished her career 10th in scoring with over 1100 career points and holds the Bradley career record for 348 free throws made and 520 attempts. Raisa closed out her career 8th in program history with 60 career blocks, tied the school record of 119 games played and ranks as Bradley’s career scoring leader in MVC tournament games. Let’s also mention, Raisa is the only player in Bradley’s program history with 300 points, 100 free throws, 150 rebounds, 100 assists, 25 blocks and 50 steals in a season.
