Amber was a two sport athlete for Eisenhower playing softball and volleyball. Graduating in 1995, Amber’s most notable sport was softball where she was the ‘93 & ‘95 Herald & Review Macon County Softball Player of the Year. She was All-Macon County for a year and All Conference during each year in high school. Amber finished her softball career at Eisenhower, batting an average of .469, driving in 113 runs, scoring 140 times and stealing 99 bases. Amber earned a D-I scholarship for softball at Ball State University and was the starting shortstop for two years. She finished her softball career playing six seasons of ASA Women’s Major Fast pitch for Decatur Lady Pride & Twister.
