James Wills is considered by many as the “biggest and greatest name in Lakeview sports.” During his Spartans career, Wills was a perfect 30-0 wrestler his senior season. He won the district title as a sophomore, despite an injury, before going on to win again as a junior and senior. James was a three-time district champion at heavyweight and was also a standout on the football field at fullback and linebacker. His junior and senior seasons of football, he received all-conference recognition, and held all-conference in baseball as well.
